February Favorites!

This is just a short list of beauty and non beauty products that really stuck out to me over the month of February! I think I'm going to start doing a post like this at the end of every month! (more of a reason for me to try new products! haha)

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

I love all the Real Techniques brushes, and they’re not that expensive either! This is a really nice, dense buffing brush for your foundation so it leaves you with an airbrushed finish. This was $9 at Ulta!

L’Oreal EverStrong Leave in Hair Repair Treatment- Overnight

I bought this on sale at Walgreens on sale for $3! Haha so I had to buy it just to try it out! Luckily, it’s incredible. You put it on dry hair before you go to bed, put your hair in a bun and go to sleep. You wash it out in the morning and it leaves your hair so soft and silky! I’m not sure how much it actually is because I bought it on sale for so cheap!

New York New York -The Big Apple- White Barn Candle from Bath and Body Works

I know this isn’t a beauty product but I love this candle! It smells so fresh and delicious! Plus! I think the 2 for $20 candle sale is going on at BBW so you can get it for cheaper!

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Dark Brown

This is my new favorite dry shampoo! I love that it has a dark brown tint so it doesn’t turn my hair grey when I use it. They have a huge variety of Batiste dry shampoo! They have some for dark brown hair, blonde hair, and all different scents! I bought mine at Walgreens for $8.

Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla and Macadamia Kiss

YUM! That’s all I have to say about that! It leaves your lips so soft and it tastes soooo yummy! I got this for 2 for $5 at CVS!

The Tangle Teezer

Since I have long hair, it gets really knotty and tangles out the wazoo. The way this brushes your hair it makes it feel like it’s not actually brushing it. It doesn’t pull your hair, and it is really soft and gentle on your hair. It doesn’t pull out your hair also! It’s also really great for kids who get a lot of tangles in their hair! I bought it at Sally’s for $12. It’s a little expensive for a hairbrush, but since my hair is so knotty it was a good investment for me!

Bath and Body Works Paris Amour body scrub and Body Butter

I think every girl has tried Paris Amour from Bath and Body Works and loves it! Using the scrub and then the body butter right when I get out of the shower leaves my skin so soft! Since they were a gift, I’m not exactly sure how much they sell for individually.

ELF clear brow gel

The ELF clear brow gel is basically glue for your brows! After I fill my brows in and brush this brow gel through them they’ll stay put all day. The eye shadow I run through my brows don’t even come away when I sweat or get oily! (sorry for that super gross statement!) This is only $1!!! But since it’s a duo with lash gel also, I ran through a couple tubes in a months time!

China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-Le

I’m obsessed with this nail polish. The end. Ha!

Stila All You Need is Love blush palette

I bought this at the end of January from Stila’s Valentines collection. Unfortunately this was limited edition :( but it’s so beautiful! You can swirl all the colors together or use one individually. This blush was $14 at Ulta.

Those were all my February favorites! I hope you try some new things this coming month! :)

My Current Drugstore Favorites!

Even though I LOVE my Sephora, Ulta, and department store make-up trips. There is a handful of drugstore make-up items I just currently can't live without! I say currently, because I'm always trying out new things and falling in love with new drugstore products. This is a list of ten products that I'm currently obsessed with!

        Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation
This is the best drugstore foundation I have ever used! It leaves such a natural finish on your skin that it doesn’t even look like you are wearing make-up! It’s great on all skin types. I thought it would make me really shiny and just slide off my skin since I have such oily skin, but it stays put all day on me. It doesn’t break down, and really evens out my skin tone. It has medium coverage, but is buildable. It’s $10 at Target, Wal-mart, etc.

         NYC Translucent Powder

WOWZA! I picked this up on a whim a few months ago because my Make-Up Forever finishing powder ran out and I didn’t want to make the mighty trek to Sephora to pick up a new one. So I saw this at Target and I thought it would give it a go since it was only $2 and I’m so happy I did! This stuff works just as well as my $30 Make-Up Forever loose translucent powder! I just cant say enough good things about this!

Rimmel Scandalize eyeliner in Brown and Nude

I talked about these in my previous blog so I’m not going to go into to too much detail again, but I love this whole line of eyeliners. If you’ve never tried a nude color, I suggest you pick one up and try it out! Nude liners take away redness in your waterline, so they make your eyes look whiter, and more awake if you’ve had a long night! This nude and brown are just so creamy and long lasting and are starting to become a staple in my make-up bag! I found mine at Walgreens for $5.

        Dream lumi touch concealer

I thought about leaving this product out since I talked about it in my previous blog but I just love it so much that I can’t leave it out of a drugstore favorite post! After a long night of watching hours of the Kardashians (aka doing homework ;) ) and I have to wake up at 5:30 AM, I grab this concealer and pair it with my Rimmel Scandalize nude liner and I’m good to go! I look like I went to bed at a decent hour and I’m ready for my day! These sell for $6!

Revlon photo ready mascara (and of course Loreal telescopic shocking extensions mascara!)

I love rubber mascara brushes and this is a typical one with a sphere of small rubber bristles at the top to separate and really get into the inner corner eyelashes. This is the best drugstore mascara for length I think! And it doesn’t skimp out on the volume also! I got my mom to use this mascara and she fell in love with it! This mascara sells for $8.

Rimmel eye shadow palette in Green Sapphire

I recently picked this up on one of my many fun Target adventures with my fiancĂ© Kristopher! (Actually, I sit in the make-up aisles and he complains the whole time haha)  honestly what caught my attention was the fact that it was on sale for $2 haha. But the colors are so beautiful. This palette of four is perfect for a green smoky eye! I actually wear this during the day a lot by blending the mess outta the darker green so it is really subtle, while building up the greens for an evening look. These shadows are really pigmented so be careful when applying them because you’ll get a really heavy daytime eye look really fast! I’m not sure how much these sell for, since I got mine on sale, but I know it’s not over $5.

Target Blending Brushes!

I love these suckers! I have about 10 of them! I use them more than my MAC blending brushes! They blend your eye shadows so perfectly! And they’re only like, $2.49!

<!--[endif]-->Elf studio blush in Tickled Pink (and candid coral of course!)

I love all the ELF studio blushes! Tickled Pink is great staple to have in your make-up collection. It’s a classic pink with golden and champagne shimmer in it. It leaves you with a beautiful glow on the cheeks! This blush is pretty pigmented also so you don’t have to build up the color like Candid Coral. These blushes are only $3!!

Revlon Colorburst lipstick in Soft Nude, with Nude Luster on top

My FAVORITE nude lip combo! This nude combo doesn’t make you look dead or sick! It’s so complimentary on all skin tones. They’re really moisturizing and comfortable on the lips. Again, I’m not too sure how much each of these cost because I bought mine at HEB on sale!

Maybelline ColorTattoo in Bad to the Bronze, topped with Loreal eyeshadow in Amber Rush

I wear this eye shadow combo 5 out of the 7 days of the week! It leaves you with the most metallic glowing eye! These loreal eye shadows are my favorite drugstore eye shadows! They’re basically a pressed pigment, and they’re so opaque. They last forever also! The Color Tattoo is about $6 and the Loreal eye shadows are $6-$8 depending on where you get them.

So these are my current drugstore favorites! I hope you decide to go out and try some, because they're well worth a try! What are some of your favorites?
